How I've lost 32 lbs painlessly without having to pay a lot

I have tried many diet fads and most did not work for me, I always seemed to fall off the bandwagon. A friend suggested Slim Fast to me, I could not see how drinking "only" 2 shakes a day would actually help me in losing weight. I tried it for a week and it made me very hungry so it did not work. I did not want to give up, I modified the diet to fit my needs, I had a shake at 7:30am and a black cup of coffee, an orange at 10am, another shake at 12:30pm and an apple at 3:30pm and dinner at 6:30pm, grilled chicken or fish, with steamed vegetables with no salt or breads and 20 minutes after dinner, I went out for a brisk walk. I do not like to exercise and am not a fan of gyms. I heard it was important to eat at the same time everyday, I dont know why, but I did. In 3 months I have dropped 32 lbs and have managed to keep it off. I like telling people my story because it was a big achievement for me, it did not cost me hundreds of dollars and most important of all, it worked for me. Not all diets work for everyone, you should consult with a health professional before going on any weight loss regimen, but there is a good phrase out there, "eat to live" not "live to eat".
